Base Brakes - Service Information

FRONT JUNCTION BLOCK

  1. Position the junction block (2) on the frame.
  2. Install the junction block mounting bolts (3) and tighten to 19 N.m (169 in. lbs.).
  3. Install the eight brake lines (1) into the junction block (2) and tighten to 19 N.m (169 in. lbs.).
  4. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
  5. Remove the prop rod and bleed the base brake system. Refer to «STANDARD PROCEDURE»(ref-476493-S07463611412012060400000) . .
