Note. This is a two-stage airbag module which must be ignited separately. Remove trim panel for steering column.
Scheme 36
1. Disconnect plug from the airbag at the steering column switch and first insert the plug with marking A (1st stage) of adapter cable No. 9257/4.
2. Connect ignition device No. 9257 to the 2-pin plug E of adapter cable No. 9257/4.
3. Place the ignition device in front of the vehicle through the door gap.
4. After triggering, repeat the work step with the plug with the marking B (2nd stage).
