3. Counter the fastening nuts -2- and open carefully. (Scheme 107)

Note. Before re-installing the component, check the O-rings of the refrigerant lines for damage and replaced them if necessary. Wet the O-rings of the refrigerant lines with refrigerant oil. Do not open the plugs for the lines and connections until shortly before installation. Close off all lines and connections using suitable plugs during removal.

Removing desiccator (fluid tank)

Installation Location

Installation position. Scheme 116

Scheme 116: Installation position

The desiccator (fluid tank) is located under the left plenum chamber cover.

1. Unscrew the fastening nuts -1- on the fluid tank. (Scheme 117)

2. Undo fastening screws -2-. (Scheme 117)

3. Unscrew the fastening clamp -3- and remove the fluid tank upwards. (Scheme 117)

4. In any case, replace the desiccator.

Installing desiccator (fluid tank)

In any case, replace O-rings for the refrigerant lines and wet the new rings with refrigerant oil.

Only install a new desiccator.
