Removing DME control module

> Before removing the control unit, switch off the ignition.

Note. Unscrew the two fastening screws for the cowl panel cover and lift up the cover in this area. Refer to 66 44 19 Removing and installing cowl panel cover - as of MY 2003 (All Models) .

1. Push the two retaining clips aside -arrows- and remove control unit to the front. see scheme 303

2. Pull out latch on both connectors in -direction of arrow- and remove the connectors. see scheme 304

1. Insert both connectors into the control unit and push in latch in -direction of arrow-. (Scheme 132)
