Preliminary work
1. Raise the vehicle at the prescribed jacking points. Refer to 40 Tightening torques for front axle - as of MY 2005 (All Models) .
2. Remove support plate. Refer to 42 14 19 Removing and installing support plate - as of MY 2005 (All Models) .
3. Attach the filled ATF filling device V. A. G. 1924 00000 as high up on the vehicle as possible.
4. Place oil collection pan under the transmission.
