System Description

The 115 volt AC/DC power outlet system consists of the following components

1. The inverter fuse
2. The gauges fuse
3. The inverter relay
4. The 115 volt power outlet switch
5. The AC/DC power control module
6. The 115 volt power outlet

System Operation

The 115 volt power outlet is activated when the 115 volt power outlet switch is in the ON position.

Circuit Operation

Pressing the 115 volt power outlet switch applies battery positive voltage to the switch indicator lamp and to the inverter relay, activating the relay. The now closed contacts of the relay complete the circuit providing battery positive voltage to the AC/DC power control module. The module converts the 12 volt DC input to the 115 volt AC output provided at the 115 volt power outlet.
