Removal
Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect negative battery cable. Locate BCM under right side of instrument panel, mounted to HVAC duct. Remove lower instrument panel insulator. Unsnap BCM from HVAC duct bracket, and lower BCM. Disconnect BCM harness connector C2, then harness connector C1. Remove BCM from vehicle.
Installation
Connect BCM harness connector C1, then harness connector C2. Snap BCM into HVAC duct bracket. Reconnect negative battery cable. Ensure BCM ground connection is tight to avoid damage to BCM. (Scheme 1)
