Removing - refitting: engine speed sensor (EC5) Peugeot 408 I

Location

(1) engine speed sensor

Removing

Disconnect the ancillaries battery

Remove

• The resonator (2)
• The (3) bolt

Uncouple the oil vapour resuction pipe (at "b")

Slacken the clip (at "a")

Remove the air filter housing (4)

Unclip the electrical harness (at "c")

Disconnect the connector (at "d")

Remove

• The (5) bolt
• The engine speed sensor (1)

Refitting

Refit

• The engine speed sensor (1)
• The (5) bolt

Re-tighten the bolt (5) to 0,8 m.daN

Connect the connector (at "d")

Clip the electrical harness clip (at "c")

Refit the air filter housing (4)

Tighten the clip (at "a")

Couple up the oil vapour resuction pipe (at "b")

Refit

• The (3) bolt
• The resonator (2)

Reconnect the ancillaries battery
