Removing
Remove the exterior rear view mirror shell (right hand side)
NoteThe exterior temperature sensor is situated in the exterior mirror (right hand side)
Unclip and remove: the cover (1); using a flat tool (as "A")
Unclip: the temperature sensor (2) from the cover (1)
Disengage the temperature sensor (2) and the harness so as to have a sufficient length of wire
Cut the black wires of the outside temperature sensor (2) (as "B")
A minimum of B = 30 mm from the temperature sensor
Remove the temperature sensor (2)
Refitting
Connect the new temperature sensor; using a sleeve RAYCHEM
Proceed in the reverse order to removal
Verify: the electrical operation (rear-view mirror)
