Replace: boot lock support Peugeot 406 I

Remove

• The tailgate trim
• The boot lock support/lock/actuator assembly

Boot lock support (1)

Remove the actuator

Remove the pin (2) using a flat screwdriver, supporting the lock support tappet (1) with your fingers

Tilt the lock support (1) into a vertical position, always supporting the rear section of the barrel

Remove

• Front panel (4)
• The springs (5)
• The shield washer (6)

Fit the new lock support (1)

Refit

• The lock (7)
• The shield washer (6)

Refit the 2 springs (5) on the positioning pins of the support (1)

Refit the panel (4) on the springs (5) always supporting the barrel in place on the support (1)

Always supporting the barrel in place on the support (1), engage the pin (2) in its location and secure it under the 2 lock tabs

Refit the support/lock/actuator assembly on the vehicle
