The multi-function button for the navigation system has the following control functions:
- Twist: Move the cursor to select menu options and letters
- Press: Confirm a selection
Installation positions of the multi-function button:
- Vectra-B: beside the display
- Omega-B: in the centre console
The navigation control unit contains:
- CD drive
- Gyro compass
- Processor and EEPROM
- GPS receiver unit
In the Vectra-B, the navigation control unit is installed in the glove compartment. The installation position of the navigation control unit in the Omega-B was not available at the copy date.
The map CD is inserted and removed in the same manner as for conventional CD drives.
