Preparation
Switch off the engine and ignition.
Connections

| Connect the red measurement lead to pin 1 of the connection plug on the pedal position sensor. Connect the ground lead to pin 4. |
Procedure
Switch on ignition.
Press the accelerator pedal once quickly down to the limit stop and then release it again.

Symptoms:
Plot of signal is overlaid with interference spikes or has downward pointing disruption.
