Controls Opel Tigra A

Controls

The controls have been taken over from the Corsa-B. The switch for the heating fan/heated rear screen has been modified, retaining the function of the fan switch. Instead of a switch that engages for actuation of the heated rear screen / mirror heating, the Tigra is fitted with a pull-out and press switch. If the pull-out and press switch is pulled out with the ignition switched on, the relevant time relay switches on the heated rear screen and the electric heating for the rear view mirrors for 15 - 20 minutes.

The function telltale in the switch knob illuminates more brightly to indicate that the rear screen and mirror heating is switched on.

The terminal assignment in the wiring harness plug for the heating fan/heated rear screen switch has been modified for regulation of the time relay. For this reason, there are two single lamp sockets (three with air conditioning) instead of the bulb holder for the illumination of the controls.

Voltage for the illumination of the controls is supplied via a two-pin (or 4-pin for vehicles with air conditioning) wiring harness plug on the left side. In vehicles with air conditioning, the compressor coupling is actuated via this wiring harness plug.
