Preparation
Engine oil temperature > 80 �C. Switch off all electrical loads. Switch off the engine and ignition.
Connections

| Connect the red measurement lead to the injector connection plug. | |

| Connect ground lead to ground. |
Procedure
Start the engine and allow it to idle.

Symptoms:
Injection period too short (> 4.5 ms).

| Exhaust too lean | Check Lambda sensor signal. |
| If ok, check and repair electronic engine system as specified in checking procedure. |

Symptoms:
Injection period too short (< 1.5 ms).
