Sliding Door Basic Setting Check Sliding Door Basic Setting:

  • Remove rear right storage compartment (1)
  • Check that the points (4) align with the marks on the casing.

Correct sliding door basic setting:

  • Actuate tip switch (system operational)
  • Manually open sliding door slightly, until square aperture (2) in sliding door module is free
  • Insert suitable square bar (5) and leave inserted for following adjustment
  • Insert hex (3)
  • Turn hex anti-clockwise until left mark (4) aligns
  • Remove square bar
  • Manually open sliding door completely
  • Manually close sliding door completely
  • Manually open sliding door slightly, until square aperture (2) in sliding door module is free
  • Check that both marks align
  • If this is not the case, repeat steps 3 to 11

Initialisation of Electrical Sliding Door System

After a power interruption or a drop in the battery voltage below approx. 10 volts, the sliding door electrics must be reprogrammed:

  • Close sliding door
  • Ignition off
  • Press tip switch (deactivate electrical actuation)
  • Manually open sliding door completely
  • Manually close sliding door completely
  • Remove fuse F18
  • Insert fuse F18 after approx. 30 seconds
  • Approx. 10 seconds after reinserting fuse F18, reactivate electrical actuation (press tip switch)
  • Open sliding door by pressing an actuation switch
  • Close sliding door by pressing an actuation switch
  • After approx. 5 seconds, repeat steps 9 and 10
