How to Replace the Odometer Frequency Sensor Opel Senator B

Odometer Frequency Sensor, Replace

OMEGA/CARLTON with analog instrument: (mechanical, identification W on dial):

The odometer frequency sensor is supplied only complete with speedometer, see operation "Speedometer, Replace" in group N.

OMEGA/CARLTON with analog instrument: (electronic, identification K on dial), or with LCD instrument and SENATOR - B:

Remove

Disconnect cable plug (1) from odometer frequency sensor (2) on transmission nose piece. (With automatic transmission AR 25/35 the odometer frequency sensor is on the right side of the transmission nose piece).

Push back locking lug with screwdriver.

Unscrew odometer frequency sensor from speedometer drive.

Install

Screw odometer frequency sensor to speedometer drive.

Carefully guide square cable of odometer frequency sensor into speedometer drive.

Plug cable plug into odometer frequency sensor in position shown.

Locking lug must engage.
