General Information
All descriptions of the manually actuated steering or power steering refer to left-hand drive vehicles.
Unless otherwise specified, aggregates in right-hand drive vehicles are arranged in a mirror image of these.
Descriptions apply in general to the OMEGA/CARLTON. Modifications which apply to the OMEGA 3000/CARLTON GSi 3000 and SENATOR-B are given specially.
The threads of bolt connections inserted with locking compound must be recut.
New bolts, if not microencapsulated, must be inserted with Locking Compound, Catalogue No. 15 10 177 (90 167 347).

All operations must be carried out, at the user's own responsibility, according to the guidelines of the relevant local trade association, in observance of health protection, accident prevention and environmental protection regulations.
Power steering:
Use Special Fluid, with the designation DEXRON Ò, Catalogue No. 19 40 692 (90 350 341), for the system.
Fluid that has been drained off must not be reused.
