How to Replace Completely the Outer Tie Rod Opel Omega B

Remove

Remove relevant wheel. Raise vehicle. Press tie rod out of steering knuckle and out of centre tie rod using KM-507-C or KM-260 (1). Remove tie rod.

Install

Install new tie rod with new self-locking fastening nuts.

Install tie rod end onto axle arm and onto centre tie rod – tightening torque 60 Nm / 44 lbf. ft. Fit front wheel – tightening torque 110 Nm / 81 lbf. ft.
