Remove
Loosen hose clamps of intake line (1) on reservoir and on power assisted steering pump and pull off intake line.
Caution
Fluid escapes, collect and close off openings.
Note. On vehicles with diesel engine (except Y 25 DT) the intake line (1) is bolted to the power steering pump.
Install
Install intake line (1) with hose clamps to fluid reservoir and to power steering pump.
For vehicles with diesel engine (except Y 25 DT): Install suction line to power steering pump – tightening torque 37.5 Nm/27.1 lbf. ft.
Inspect
Charge and bleed hydraulic system – see operation "Hydraulic System, Charge and Bleed".
