|---|---|---|---|
| No. | Trouble Code Storage when | ||
| 55 | REPLACE ECU | - | EEPROM test: |
· One area of the control unit EEPROM cannot be written or read
The EEPROM is divided into the following areas:
01. Nominal positions for personal key 1
02. Nominal positions for personal key 2
03. Nominal positions for personal key 3
04. Fault memory
05. End stops for seat motors
06. End stops for mirror motors
07. Constants area
08. Variables and fault masks
09. Contents of identification block
10. Reserved area
Effect:
· Areas 01 to 03
Automatic adjustment for the relevant personal key is blocked
· Area 04
Readout of any stored trouble codes is not possible
· Area 05
The seat end stops are not monitored, i.e. the motors are not switched off when they reach their programmed end stops
· Area 06
The mirror end stops are not monitored
· Area 07
Default values are used instead of the stored constants
Main relay monitor:
· Despite actuation of the key and software actuation of one of the two main relays in the control unit, no contacts are recognised as being switched on
· 1.5 s after release of last key and software actuation of one of the two main relays in the control unit, one of the contacts is recognised as being not switched off
· Above tests are performed after the main relays are switched on or off
Effect:
| · No actuation of seat motors |
