Performance Test
The performance test determines whether the temperature of outflowing air, low pressure and high pressure correspond to the specifications at a certain ambient temperature and engine speed.
- Connect service station to high and low pressure service connection.
The following conditions must be noted:
- Close windows and doors, carefully lower bonnet.
- Start engine and switch on AC.
- Set driver's and co�driver's pre�selected temperature to LO (max. cooling).
- Maximum fan setting (9), recirculating air switch OFF.
- All flaps 100% open
- Allow engine to run for 15 minutes at idle speed.
- After 15 minutes enter vehicle and after 5 minutes set engine speed to 1500 rpm.
Measure ambient temperature and temperature at ventilator nozzles with gauge TP�82 and compare with performance data (see Chapter 8.3).
Read low pressure and high pressure at service station and compare with performance data (see Chapter 8.3).
