How to Replace the Vacuum Pump Opel Corsa D

Remove

  1. 1. Open bonnet
  2. 2. Remove engine cover
  3. 3. Remove exhaust return valve (1) • Detach exhaust gas recirculation cooler pipe(2) – Unscrew 2x bolts – Remove seal • Unscrew 4x bolts – Remove seal
  1. 4. Detach coolant hose (1) from thermostat housing cover • Release clamp
  1. 5. Remove rear intake tube bracket (2) from induction pipe (6) • Unscrew 2x bolts (1)
  2. 6. Remove induction pipe with throttle module • Detach charge air hose from throttle module – Loosen quick-release coupling • Disconnect wiring harness plug of throttle module – Unclip wiring harness • Remove bracket beneath induction pipe (5) – Unscrew bolt (3) – Unscrew nut (2) • Unscrew 3 bolts (arrows) • Unclip vacuum hose • Remove seal
  1. 7. Remove rear induction pipe bracket • Unscrew 2x bolts
  2. 8. Remove brake power assist unit vacuum line (2) from vacuum pump
  3. 9. Remove vacuum hose from vacuum pump
  1. 10. Remove vacuum pump (2) • Unscrew 3x bolts (1)

Install

  1. 11. Install vacuum pump • Replace seal • Tighten 3x bolt 24 Nm

Note. Observe the gearing position

Note. Note guide sleeves

  1. 12. Attach vacuum hose to vacuum pump

Important. Quick-release coupling must audibly engage

  1. 13. Attach brake power assist unit vacuum line to vacuum pump
  2. 14. Install rear induction pipe bracket • Tighten 2x bolt 24 Nm
  3. 15. Install induction pipe with throttle module • Replace seal • Tighten 3x bolt 16 Nm • Connect throttle module wiring harness plug – Attach wiring harness • Install bracket beneath induction pipe – Tighten bolt – Tighten nut • Clip in vacuum hose • Attach charge air hose to throttle module – Close quick-release fitting
  4. 16. Attach induction pipe bracket to induction pipe • Tighten 2x bolts
  5. 17. Attach coolant hose to thermostat housing. • Fasten clamp
  6. 18. Install exhaust return valve • Replace seal • Tighten 4 bolts 24 Nm • Attach exhaust return radiator tube – Replace seal – Tighten 2 bolts 29 Nm

Note. Attach coolant hose bracket

  1. 19. Install engine cover
  2. 20. Close bonnet
