Pedal Position Double Signal with Kick Down Switch Opel Corsa C

Objective:

Checking the electrical and mechanical functions of the pedal position sensor.

Measurement:

Plot of voltage at the signal outputs of the pedal position sensor.

Preparation:

Switch off the engine and ignition.

Connections:

INPUT ACOM/TRIGGERINPUT B
Connect the red measurement lead to pin 6 of the connection plug on the pedal position sensor. Connect the black ground lead to ground.Connect the grey measurement lead to pin 3 of the connection plug on the pedal position sensor.

Procedure Tech 31:

  1. 1. Download Reference curve.
  2. 2. Switch on the ignition.
  3. 3. Depress the accelerator pedal quickly down to the kick down stop for about half a second and then press the accelerator pedal quickly to the limit stop and release it again.

  1. 1. Download Setup file (the Tech 32 uses only Setup files, no reference curves).
  2. 2. Switch on the ignition.
  3. 3. Depress the accelerator pedal quickly down to the kick down stop for about half a second and then press the accelerator pedal quickly to the limit stop and release it again.
