Important: Once an immobiliser control unit is programmed, it cannot be reset/changed. This also means that if new keys with new transponder (PLIP) codes are wanted, a new (not programmed) immobiliser control unit has to be ordered.
In case of a lost/stolen key, in interest of safety, order new keys with new transponder (PLIP) code and a new immobiliser control unit. Program these according to procedure as described in “Replace immobiliser control unit and Set of 2 Remote Control-Keys — Arena” . Afterwards the lost/stolen key cannot be recognized anymore.
If the security code is not mentioned at the CAR PASS see “Ordering Related Parts — Arena” to request this code and others
Note. Only when both keys with their label (containing the 7-Digit transponder (PLIP) code) are lost and no valid security code (4-Digit) can be obtained, the complete set must be replaced. (Immobiliser control unit, Set of Remote Control-Keys, Fuel Cut-Off Solenoid Valve)
Note. If any trouble code is stored before or during the programming, this must be resolved first. The section “LED Status — Arena” can also help to find the failure with respect to the immobiliser system.
