Heating Mat Replace

(Seat Cushion Shown, Seatback Similar)

Warning: If the seat cushion or seatback foam is damaged when you remove the heater element, replace the seat cushion or seatback in order to prevent personal injury.

Remove

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the airbag and heating mat wiring harness.
  3. Remove the seatback and/or cushion. Refer to Front Seatback Replace , Front Seat Cushion Replace .
  4. Remove the seat cover from the seatback and/or the cushion.
  5. Peel the heating mat off of the cushion.

Install

  1. Install the heating mat.
  2. Install the seat cover onto the seatback and/or the cushion.
  3. Install the seatback and/or the seat cushion. Refer to Front Seatback Replace , Front Seat Cushion Replace .
  4. Connect the airbag and heating mat wiring harness.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
