Immobilizer Control Module Replacement Opel Agila B

Remove

  1. 1. Disconnect battery negative lead
  2. 2. Remove lower trim panel (1) from instrument panel • Release 10x clip
  3. 3. Remove 2x canopy (2) from steering column • Remove 3x screw (3) • Release lower canopy from upper canopy – Release 7x clip

Note. Turn steering wheel to gain access to screws as required.

  1. 4. Remove immobilizer control module (2) from steering and ignition lock assembly • Disconnect harness connector (1) • Remove screw (3)

Install

  1. 5. Install new immobilizer control module (2) to steering and ignition lock assembly • Install screw (3) • Connect harness connector (1)
  1. 6. Install 2x canopy (2) to steering column • Secure lower canopy to upper canopy – Secure 7x clip • Install 3x screw (3)

Note. Turn steering wheel to gain access as required.

  1. 7. Install lower trim panel (1) to instrument panel • Secure 10x clip
  1. 8. Connect battery negative lead • Secure nut 11 Nm
  2. 9. Program Immobilizer Control Module • Remove cover from diagnostic socket • Connect Tech 2 with CANdi to diagnostic socket • Select F0: DIAGNOSTICS • Select corresponding vehicle identification • Select F4: BODY • Select immobilizer • Turn "ON" Ignition and press CONFIRM • Follow menu guide in Tech 2 to end of program
  3. 10. Turn off Tech 2, then remove from vehicle • Disconnect Tech 2 with CANdi from diagnostic socket • Install cover to diagnostic socket
  4. 11. Program all volatile memories – see operation “Program Volatile Memories”
  5. 12. For vehicle with keyless entry system, program ignition key transmitter code – see operation “Programming Key Transmitter Code”
