Wheel Alignment Specifications & Procedures Nissan Stanza II

SENTRA

Note. On Sentra, caster and kingpin inclination are preset at factory and cannot be adjusted.

If camber is not within specification, adjust by turning the adjusting pin (Scheme 1)

  1. Remove the adjusting pin. Adjusting pin is factory installed with the flat portion facing down.
  2. Install adjusting pin with the flat portion facing up.
  3. Turn the adjusting pin to adjust, Camber changes about 15' with each graduation of the adjusting pin. (Scheme 2)
  4. Tighten to the specified torque.

Toe adjustment (Except Pickup). To adjust, turn eccentric to desired setting. Scheme 4

TOE-IN ALIGNMENT (PICKUP)

Adjust toe-in by varying the lenght of the steering tie-rods. Adjust toe-in by turning the left and right tie-rod tubes an equal amount. Make sure the tie-rods are screwed into the tie-rod tube more than 1.38" (35 mm).

Once adjusted, make sure that the tie-rods are the same lenght. (Scheme 5)
