BEFORE REPLACEMENT

When replacing BCM, save or print current vehicle specification with CONSULT configuration before replacement.

Note. If "READ CONFIGURATION" can not be used, use the "WRITE CONFIGURATION - Manual selection" after replacing BCM.

AFTER REPLACEMENT

CAUTIONWhen replacing BCM, always perform "WRITE CONFIGURATION" with CONSULT. Or not doing so, BCM control function does not operate normally. Complete the procedure of "WRITE CONFIGURATION" in order. Configuration is different for each vehicle model. Confirm configuration of each vehicle model. If you set incorrect "WRITE CONFIGURATION", incidents might occur.

Note. When replacing BCM, perform the system initialization (NATS) (if equipped).

INSTALLATION

Install in the reverse order of removal.

  1. Remove instrument finisher A. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-672652-S11949434712014112400000) ".
  2. Disconnect NATS antenna amp. connector and push-button ignition switch connector.
  3. Disengage the push-button ignition switch fixing pawls by pushing them in the direction of the arrow (1) as shown in the figure.
  4. Push push-button ignition switch (1) in the direction of the arrow (2), as shown in the figure, and remove push-button ignition switch from NATS antenna amp (2).

Install in the reverse order of removal.
