WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES

Stud Torque (Lower Ball Joint)
- Disconnect ball joint from steering knuckle. Check ball joint using a pull gauge. Side-to-side torque should be 1.8-17.2 lbs. (0.8-7.8 kg). If not within specification, replace ball joint.
- With ball joint stud nut in place, check stud turning torque. Turning torque should be 4.3-43.4 INCH lbs. (.5-5.0 N.m). If not within specification, replace ball joint.
