Ventilation System: Removal & Installation Nissan Note E12

REMOVAL

  1. Remove cluster lid C. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-675607-S20260849492014120500000) ".
  2. Release pawls and remove the center ventilator grille from cluster lid C.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

  1. Remove instrument panel assembly. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-675607-S16560528422014120500000) ".
  2. Remove center ventilator duct. Refer to " «CENTER VENTILATOR DUCT: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-675620-S41656944312014120500000) ".
  3. Remove screw and the side ventilator grille.

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

  1. Remove front pillar finisher. Refer to " «FRONT PILLAR FINISHER: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-675611-S41976096022014120500000) ".
  2. Release side defroster grille pawls using a suitable tool and remove.

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTIONVisually check the pawls for deformation and damage during installation. Replace with a new component if necessary. When installing side defroster grille, check that all pawls are securely placed into instrument panel assembly.
  1. Remove instrument panel assembly. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-675607-S16560528422014120500000) ".
  2. Remove side defroster ducts. Refer to " «SIDE DEFROSTER DUCT: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-675620-S23765191662014120500000) ".
  3. Remove center defroster duct. Refer to " «CENTER DEFROSTER DUCT: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-675620-S37614233022014120500000) ".
  4. Remove screw and center ventilator duct from instrument panel assembly.

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

  1. Remove instrument panel assembly. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-675607-S16560528422014120500000) ".
  2. Remove screws and center defroster duct from instrument panel assembly.

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

  1. Remove instrument panel assembly. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-675607-S16560528422014120500000) ".
  2. Remove screws and side defroster duct from instrument panel assembly.

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

  1. Remove driver seat (if necessary). Refer to " «DRIVER SIDE: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-675605-S07451646572014120500000) ".
  2. Remove passenger seat (if necessary). Refer to " «PASSENGER SIDE: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-675605-S15787162872014120500000) ".
  3. Remove rear seat cushion. Refer to " «SEAT CUSHION: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-675605-S34945010482014120500000) ".
  4. Remove dash side finisher (LH/RH). Refer to " «DASH SIDE FINISHER: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-675611-S09815083292014120500000) ".
  5. Remove center pillar lower finisher (LH/RH). Refer to " «CENTER PILLAR LOWER FINISHER: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-675611-S39475785432014120500000) ".
  6. Remove center console lower. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-675607-S08278490192014120500000) "
  7. Position floor trim and floor insulators aside.
  8. Release and remove rear floor ducts.

Install in the reverse order of removal.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Refer to " «EXPLODED VIEW»(ref-675572-S00403242272014120500000) ".
  2. Remove instrument lower panel LH. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-675607-S42805239232014120500000) ".
  3. Remove knee bolster. Refer to " «EXPLODED VIEW»(ref-675607-S27289048472014120500000) ".
  4. Remove the accelerator pedal assembly. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-675602-S13956556252014120500000) ".
  5. Remove the brake pedal assembly. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-675601-S40290491142014120500000) ".
  6. Disconnect the harness connectors from the front blower motor.
  7. Disconnect the harness connector from the thermo control amp.
  8. Remove the front blower motor screw (A).
  9. Press the flange holding hook, turn the front blower motor counterclockwise and remove.

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
