Power is supplied at all times

  1. Through 10A fuse [No. 20, located in fuse block (J/B)]
  2. To stop lamp switch terminal 1.

When the brake pedal is pressed, the stop lamp switch is closed and power is supplied

  1. Through stop lamp switch terminal 2
  2. To rear combination lamp LH and RH terminal 1 and
  3. To high-mounted stop lamp terminal +.

Ground is supplied

  1. To rear combination lamp LH and RH terminal 5
  2. Through grounds B7 and B19, and
  3. To high-mounted stop lamp terminal
  4. Through grounds B117 and B132.

With power and ground supplied, the stop lamps illuminate.

Control of the parking, license plate, and tail lamp operation is dependent upon the position of the lighting switch (combination switch). When the lighting switch is placed in the 1ST position, the BCM (body control module) receives input signal requesting the parking, license plate, side marker and tail lamps to illuminate. This input signal is communicated to the IPDM E/R (intelligent power distribution module engine room) across the CAN communication lines. The CPU (central processing unit) of the IPDM E/R controls the tail lamp relay coil. This relay, when energized, directs power to the parking, license plate, rear side marker and tail lamps, which then illuminate.

Power is supplied at all times

  1. Through 15A fuse (No. 41, located in the IPDM E/R)
  2. To tail lamp relay, located in the IPDM E/R, and
  3. Through 15A fuse (No. 34 located in the IPDM E/R)
  4. To the CPU in the IPDM E/R, and
  5. To ignition relay, located in the IPDM E/R, and
  6. Through 50A fusible link (letter f, located in the fuse and fusible link box)
  7. To BCM terminal 55, and
  8. Through 10A fuse [No. 21, located in the fuse block (J/B)]
  9. To BCM terminal 42.

With the ignition switch in the ON or START position, power is supplied

  1. Through 10A fuse [No. 1, located in the fuse block (J/B)]
  2. To BCM terminal 38, and
  3. To ignition relay, located in the IPDM E/R.

With the ignition switch in the ACC or ON position, power is supplied

  1. Through 10A fuse [No. 6, located in the fuse block (J/B)]
  2. To BCM terminal 11.

Ground is supplied

  1. To BCM terminal 52
  2. Through grounds M57, M61 and M79, and
  3. To IPDM E/R terminals 38 and 60
  4. Through grounds E15 and E24.
