COOLING SYSTEM BLEEDING
Before filling cooling system, ensure heater valve is open to allow coolant flow through heater core. See OPENING HEATER VALVE table. When filling cooling system, ensure air relief plug is loose to allow trapped air to exit system. (Scheme 1) Tighten air relief plug after filling cooling system.

| (1) Turn ignition off then on. Within 10 seconds, press OFF button on A/C control panel and hold for at least 5 seconds. Release button. Press HOT button 3 times. Press DEF button 2 times. Number 43 will illuminate on control panel. Wait 10 seconds before turning ignition off. | |
