Flushing Cooling System
- Fill radiator from filler cap above radiator upper hose and reservoir tank with water and reinstall filler cap above radiator upper hose.
- Run engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature.
- Rev engine two or three times under no-load.
- Stop engine and wait until it cools down.
- Drain water.
- Repeat steps 1 through 5 until clear water begins to drain from radiator.

| WARNING | Never remove the radiator cap when the engine is hot. Serious burns could occur from high pressure coolant escaping from the radiator. Wrap a thick cloth around the cap. Slowly turn it a quarter turn to allow built-up pressure to escape. Carefully remove the cap by turning it all the way. |
- Fill the radiator from the filler neck above the radiator upper hose and reservoir tank with clean water and reinstall radiator filler cap.
- Run the engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature.
- Rev the engine two or three times under no-load.
- Stop the engine and wait until it cools down.
- Drain the water from the system. Refer to «CHANGING ENGINE COOLANT»(ref-183495-S21164635392005081400000) .
- Repeat steps 1 through 5 until clear water begins to drain from the radiator.
