BATTERY SPECIFICATIONS
| CAUTION | When battery is disconnected, vehicles equipped with computers may lose memory data. When battery power is restored, driveability problems may exist on some vehicles. These vehicles may require a relearn procedure. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in the GENERAL INFORMATION Section. |
If battery is replaced, new battery should be of the same group number as shown on the original battery's label.
All engines use batteries with B.C.I. group number 24.
TRANSMISSION FLUID
Make certain that no fluid is spilled when the transmission fluid is inspected or is added soon after driving. If it spills onto the exhaust manifold, there is a danger of fire.
CARGO LOADING
When determining vehicle passenger and/or cargo load, DO NOT use the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating data on the safety certification label. Use the weight values on the tire pressure label.
RADIATOR CAP
Before removing radiator cap, make sure that the engine is thoroughly cooled down. Otherwise hot steam or boiling water could gush from the filler port and cause injury.
