  1. Remove the lighting switch and the wiper/washer switch.
  2. Among individual connectors of the column switch body remaining in the steering column, check for continuity between same number terminals (No. 3-11). TERMINAL VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION COLUMN SWITCH BODY TERMINAL NO. SPECIFIED CONDITION Connector at the lighting switch side Connector at the wiper/washer switch side 3 - 3 4 - 4 5 - 5 6 - 6 7 - 7 8 - 8 9 - 9 10 - 10 11 - 11 Less than 2 ohms
