Removal & Installation

  1. Remove the defrost grille. Disconnect the sunload/headlamp sensor electrical connector.
  2. Remove the light sensor amplifier. Disconnect the light sensor amplifier electrical connector. Remove the screws. Remove the sensor.
  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

  1. Lower the glove compartment door.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  3. Carefully pry the evaporator air discharge temperature sensor (19C734) to disengage the clips and remove the evaporator air discharge temperature sensor.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

  1. Remove the integrated control panel (18C858). Refer to «Climate Control Assembly»(ref-178888-S40330094502005062400000) .
  2. Remove the right-side lower instrument panel insulator.
  3. Remove the temperature blend door linkage shield.
  4. Remove the temperature blend door actuator (19E660). Disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the screws. Remove the temperature blend door actuator.
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

  1. Remove the right-side instrument panel insulator (046A42).
  2. Remove the blower motor resistor (18591). Disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the screws. Remove the blower motor resistor.
  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

  1. Remove the right-side instrument panel insulator.
  2. Remove the blower motor speed control (19E624). Disconnect the vacuum line. Disconnect the electrical connectors. Remove the screws and the blower motor speed control.
  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

  1. Remove the evaporator and heater core housing (19850). Refer to «HEATER CORE AND EVAPORATOR CORE HOUSING»(ref-178794-S39511770532005062200000) .
  2. Remove the screws.
  3. Rotate and remove the air inlet door vacuum control motor (18A318).
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Removal and Installation

  1. Working through the driver footwell, remove the two screws and the shield.
  2. Label and disconnect the two vacuum hoses. Remove the screw. Lift, rotate and remove the panel/floor door vacuum control motor (18A318) from the door lever.
  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

  1. Remove the passenger air bag module. Refer to «DUAL-STAGE PASSENGER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE»(ref-150632-S26782237642002112000000) .
  2. Remove the defrost door vacuum control motor (18A318). Disconnect the vacuum line. Remove the screws.
  3. Rotate and remove the vacuum control motor from the defrost door lever.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

  1. Remove the floor console.
  2. Remove the right-side instrument panel insulator (046A24).
  3. Working the passenger footwell, remove the floor console register duct vacuum control motor (18A318). Disconnect the vacuum hose. Remove the screws.
  4. Rotate and remove the vacuum control motor from the floor console register duct door.
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

  1. Remove the right front tire and wheel assembly.
  2. Remove the rear half of the right front fender splash shield.
  3. Remove the bolt.
  4. Disconnect the vacuum hose. Remove the vacuum reservoir and bracket (19A566).
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
