TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
| CAUTION | All driveshaft assemblies are balanced. If undercoating the vehicle, protect the driveshaft to prevent overspray of any undercoating material. |
The driveshaft transfers torque from the engine, through the transmission to the power take off (PTO) unit, then to the active on-demand coupling, which regulates torque to the ring and pinion and finally through the rear halfshafts to the rear wheels. The driveshaft has the following features
- The driveshaft consists of: CV joints at each end center bearing a universal joint at the center bearing.
- The driveshaft is always turning at front wheel speed.
- The driveshaft is not serviceable.
