REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
| CAUTION | When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery. |
Remove appropriate door panel. Remove bezel. Remove window inner weather stripping. Detach rubber cover. Disconnect mirror assembly harness connector. Remove mirror attaching screws. Remove mirror assembly. To install, reverse removal procedure.
Push mirror glass as far down and inward as possible to expose rear of mirror glass. Using a thin flat-bladed screwdriver, release each retaining tang and tilt mirror glass down. Disconnect heated mirror harness connectors (if equipped). Remove mirror glass. To install, reverse removal procedure.
