Different performance maps for the engine control can be stored or activated with the correction programming in the ME control unit (N3/10).
The corrective programming can be carried out with STAR Diagnosis (0100) when ignition is "ON", via the data link connector (X11/4).
The following maps can be influenced
- Ignition maps for adapting to different fuel quality (except )
- Mixture maps for enriching the air/fuel mixture in different operating states (except )
- Idle speed with transmission mode selected
- Fault setting conditions for rendering smooth engine running (recognition less sensitive)
