Notes on the application of sealing compound to the cylinder head cover - AH01.30-P-1000-08TI
The retighten line (A) identifies the sealant run
Sealing surfaces must be free of oil and grease. Apply sealing compound to surfaces as a bead 1.5 mm (± 0.5 mm) wide. The sealing compound must be applied within 10 min. The sealing compound bead must not be spread

Notes on application of sealant to timing case cover - AH01.40-P-1000-01TI
Application of sealant to timing case cover
One should particularly ensure freedom from oil contamination and cleanliness at blendings between the oil pan and crankcase otherwise oil leaks may occur
The retighten line (A) identifies the sealant run
Sealing surfaces must be free of oil and grease. Apply sealing compound to surfaces as a bead 1.5 mm (±0.5 mm) wide. The sealing compound must be applied within 10 min. The sealing compound bead must not be spread
The sealing compound must be applied in the upper area of the timing case cutout in the center area of the sealing surface since the sealing compound slides downwards due to placement of the timing case cover
