FRONT SEAT DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY
| WARNING | Handling the front seat (with a side air bag) improperly can accidentally deploy the side air bag, which may seriously injure you. Read the service warnings before handling the front seat (with a side air bag). (See AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .) |
- For vehicles with side air bags, remove the side air bag module. (See «SIDE AIR BAG MODULE»(ref-170350-S29911326512005011000000).)
- Disassemble in the order indicated in (Scheme 4), (Scheme 5) or (Scheme 6).
- Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

Scheme 7: FRONT TILT MOTOR INSPECTION
- Disconnect the front tilt motor connector.
- Connect battery positive voltage to front tilt motor terminal A or B, then verify that the front tilt motor operate (Scheme 7)

- If the front tilt motor does not operate as indicated in (Scheme 8), replace the front tilt motor.

Scheme 9: REAR TILT MOTOR INSPECTION
- Disconnect the rear tilt motor connector.
- Connect battery positive voltage to rear tilt motor terminal A or B, then verify that the rear tilt motor operate (Scheme 9)
Scheme 10
- If the rear tilt motor does not operate as indicated, replace the rear tilt motor. (Scheme 10)

Scheme 11: SLIDE MOTOR INSPECTION
- Disconnect the slide motor connector.
- Connect battery positive voltage to slide motor terminal A or B, then verify that the slide motor operate (Scheme 11)
Scheme 12
- If the slide motor does not operate as indicated, replace the slide motor. (Scheme 12)

Scheme 13: RECLINER MOTOR INSPECTION
- Disconnect the recliner motor connector.
- Connect battery positive voltage to recliner motor terminal A or B, then verify that the recliner motor operate (Scheme 13)
Scheme 14
- If the recliner motor does not operate as indicated, replace the recliner motor. (Scheme 14)
Scheme 15
Scheme 15: LUMBAR SUPPORT MOTOR INSPECTION
- Disconnect the lumbar support motor connector.
- Connect battery positive voltage to lumbar support motor terminal A or B, then verify that the lumbar support motor operate (Scheme 15)
Scheme 16
- If the lumbar support motor does not operate as indicated, replace the lumbar support motor. (Scheme 16)
