Cleaning Notes

Clean the transmission exterior thoroughly with steam, cleaning solvents, or both, before disassembly.
Clean the removed parts with cleaning solvent, and dry with compressed air. Clean out all holes and passages with compressed air, and verify that there are no obstructions.
