Front Pipe Removal Note

1. Remove the transverse member before removing the front pipe. See «TRANSVERSE MEMBER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-169486-S01572958482004120900000) .

Scheme 2

1. Remove the HO2S using the SST

Exhaust Manifold (RH) Removal Note

1. Disconnect the generator, but do not remove it from the vehicle. After disconnection, fix the generator using a rope to prevent it from falling. (See GENERATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)

Scheme 3

1. Assemble the exhaust manifold gasket so that the painted surface faces the exhaust manifold side.

Scheme 4

1. Tighten the exhaust manifold installation nuts in the order shown.
