Octane Adjust Shorting Bar (B2500, B3000 & B4000)
The octane shorting bar is used to retard spark. A diagnostic trouble code will set if octane adjust shorting bar is removed or if an open circuit exists. Octane shorting bar is located right rear or engine, near PCM.
