Automatic A/C-heater is a thermostatic expansion valve type system. System can be automatically or manually controlled. Self-diagnostic feature stores fault codes in A/C amplifier memory. Codes can be retrieved for fault diagnosis. Blower case is mounted under right side of instrument panel. Evaporator case is mounted to left of blower case. Heater case is mounted to left of evaporator case.
SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK
Start and warm engine to operating temperature. Ensure engine coolant temperature reaches 104-212°F (40-100°C). Verify system operates as follows.
