1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Fully roll up the front door glass.
3. Remove the inner garnish. (See «INNER GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-375422-S00139901402010102800000) .)
4. Remove the front door trim. (See «FRONT DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-375422-S00088527812010102800000) .)
5. Remove the hole cover.
6. Detach the rod from the outer handle.
7. Secure the rear part of the front outer handle and, with the front outer handle lever pulled outward (1), remove the rear part of the front outer handle from the front door.
8. Pull out the front side of the front outer handle from the front door.
9. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Fully roll up the rear door glass.
3. Remove the rear door trim. (See «REAR DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-375422-S34474239882010102800000) .)
4. Secure the rear part of the rear outer handle and, with the rear outer handle lever pulled outward (1), remove the rear part of the rear outer handle from the rear door.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3. Detach the cables from the inner handle and door lock knob.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

3. Remove the screws, then remove the door lock switch.

1. Inspect for continuity between the door lock switch terminals using an ohmmeter. If not as specified, replace the door lock switch.

1. To remove the hood release cable, remove the following parts
2. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Pull the hood release lever.
2. While maintaining the condition in procedure 1, insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver as shown in the figure, press the ends of the tabs with the screwdriver in the direction of the arrows (1), pull the hood release lever in the direction of arrow (2), and then disconnect the lower panel. CAUTION: Remove the hood release lever while being careful not to damage the hood release cable with the flathead screwdriver.
3. Pull the latch release lever outward, remove it from the lower panel, and then disconnect the hood release cable.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. When inspecting the latch, press the latch lever using a flathead screwdriver or a similar tool.
2. Inspect for continuity between the hood latch switch terminals. If not as specified, replace the hood latch.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3. Remove the rod from the front door key cylinder.
4. Turn the key cylinder in the direction indicated by the arrow and move the tab to the notch.
5. Pull the front door key cylinder outward to remove it.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

2. Inspect for continuity between the liftgate latch switch terminals. If not as specified, replace the liftgate latch and lock actuator.

2. Remove the bolts, then remove the liftgate lock striker.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

4. Disconnect the keyless control module connector.
5. Remove the bolt, then remove the keyless control module.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
