1. Verify that the torque converter stud bolts are inserted into the drive plate bolt holes from the starter installation hole. (Scheme 774): Identifying Torque Converter Stud Bolt
2. Tighten the transaxle mounting bolts. (Scheme 775): Locating Transaxle Mounting Bolts Tightening torque 38-52 N.m {3.9-5.3 kgf.m, 29-38 ft.lbf}

1. Tighten nuts on the No.4 engine mount bracket in the order of A to C. (Scheme 776): No.4 Engine Mount Bracket Nuts And Bolts Tightening torque 67-93 N.m {6.9-9.4 kgf.m, 50-68 ft.lbf}
2. Tighten the new bolts on the No.4 engine mount rubber. (Scheme 777): No.4 Engine Mount Rubber Bolts Tightening torque 77-103 N.m {7.9-10 kgf.m, 57-75 ft.lbf}

1. Hold the crankshaft pulley to prevent drive plate from rotating. (Scheme 778): Holding Crankshaft Pulley
2. Tighten the torque converter nuts from the starter installation hole. (Scheme 779): Locating Torque Converter Nut And Starter Installation Hole CAUTION: Loosely and equally tighten the torque converter nuts, then further tighten them to the specified tightening torque. Tightening torque 41-54 N.m {4.2-5.5 kgf.m, 31-39 ft.lbf}

Scheme 780

1. Remove the transaxle. (See «AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [FS5A-EL]»(ref-581660-S19209593102013101400000).)
2. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal (Scheme 780): Drive Plate Installation Bolts, Backing Plate And Drive Plate With Torque Specification

1. Set the SST against the drive plate. (Scheme 781): Identifying Drive Plate Bolt Loosening Sequence
2. Loosen the drive plate installation bolts uniformly in two or three steps in the order shown in the figure, then remove the bolts and the drive plate.

2. Tighten the new drive plate installation bolts uniformly in two or three steps in the order shown in the figure. Tightening torque 108-116 N.m {11.1-11.8 kgf.m, 80-85 ft.lbf}
