Scheme 4: IGNITION SWITCH INSPECTION

- Verify that the continuity between the ignition switch terminals is as indicated in the table. If not as indicated in the table, replace the ignition switch.

Scheme 6: IGNITION SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
- Remove the battery cover. (See «BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3]»(ref-292887-S30644836642008080600000) .)
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the meter hood. (See «METER HOOD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-292888-S19738017082008080600000) .)
- Remove the column cover. (See «COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-292888-S25932918152008080600000) .)
- Remove in the order indicated in the table.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.

- Rotate the lever in the direction of the arrow and remove the connector.
