1. Remove the battery cover. (See «BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]»(ref-579332-S32330103212013100700000).)
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See «BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]»(ref-579332-S32330103212013100700000).)
3. Disconnect the PCM connector. (See «PCM CONNECTOR CONNECTION NOTE»(ref-579396-S06656776852013100700000).)
4. Remove the battery. (See «BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]»(ref-579332-S32330103212013100700000).)
5. Remove the battery tray and PCM component. (See «BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]»(ref-579332-S32330103212013100700000).)
6. Remove in the order indicated in the table. (Scheme 127): Locating PCM With Torque Specifications
7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
8. When replacing the PCM on the vehicles, perform the following: PCM configuration (See «PCM CONFIGURATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]»(ref-579396-S04594803102013100700000).) Immobilizer system-related parts programming (See «IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PARTS PROGRAMMING [KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM]»(ref-579383-S17071365332013100700000).)
