Scheme 41: PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF, L3]
- When replacing the PCM, perform the following: PCM configuration (See «PCM CONFIGURATION [LF, L3]»(ref-345210-S26230212932009102000000) ).
- Remove the battery cover, battery duct, battery and battery tray with PCM. (See «BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF, L3]»(ref-345206-S36173522052009102000000) .)
- Disconnect the PCM connector.
- Remove the PCM from the battery tray.
- When replacing the PCM on the vehicles, perform the following: PCM parameter reset (See «IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM COMPONENT REPLACEMENT/KEY ADDITION AND CLEARING»(ref-345243-S01012376282009102000000) .)
- Install in the reverse order of removal.

- Verify that the PCM connector lever is tilted towards the wiring harness side as shown in the figure.
- Insert the PCM connector straight until it contacts the PCM and verify that the lever reverts upward naturally.
- Push the lever until a click is heard.
